European Union Business Development Centers Network

It was established in 2002 with European Union funds under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and hosted by the relevant Chambers of Commerce and/or Industry.

ABİGEMs aim to be the number one point of contact for SMEs to receive business development services, helping them to increase their competitiveness in national and international markets and develop their potential by providing professional training and consultancy services. The training, consultancy services and sectoral projects to be provided by ABİGEMs are designed according to the characteristics of the region and the needs of SMEs in the region. Furthermore, EUİGEMs contribute to the training of well-equipped local consultants and the creation of a pool of SME experts in Turkey. EU financial assistance for the ABİGEM Network has reached €50 million.

Etohum

Etohum is an accelerator and seed investor that aims to bring together companies, investors and professionals with entrepreneurs who have knowledge and ideas about the new economy and want to start their own internet company.

The acceleration process, which runs from December to February every year, aims to provide start-up information, a suitable entrepreneurial environment, and evaluation of business plans by companies, individuals and investors who can become investors. The 40 selected startups that have completed the acceleration program present to investors in the Etohum Investor Club.

There are many competitions on entrepreneurship, but Etohum is not a competition. It operates with the aim of informing and guiding entrepreneur candidates who have knowledge and ideas about the internet, introducing them to the right business networks and guiding them during the realization of the internet company they intend to establish.

Republic of Turkey Ministry of Economy

Credit Guarantee Fund

The aim of KGF is to facilitate access to finance for SMEs with insufficient collateral. KGF aims to eliminate collateral insufficiency as an obstacle to access to finance by acting as a guarantor for SMEs that do not have the assets required by credit institutions as collateral.

It also aims to ensure the effective functioning of the credit market, increase the share of SMEs in total loans, enable SMEs to use long-term investment loans, increase the competitiveness of SMEs, support entrepreneurship, enable SMEs to borrow from banks instead of informal markets, improve income distribution and increase employment.

Development Agencies are autonomous public institutions established under the coordination of the State Planning Organization (SPO) to reduce inequalities between regions and ensure regional development. Development Agencies are direct investment implementing agencies

organizations are not. The main task of Development Agencies is to unleash local potential by supporting cooperation between the public, private sector and NGOs.

It supports the projects or activities of local administrations, universities, other public institutions and organizations, professional organizations with public institutional status, non-governmental organizations, for-profit enterprises, cooperatives, unions and other real and legal persons in two ways: financial and technical support. Financial support consists of direct financial support, interest support and interest-free credit support.
